Lusaka, 26th August 2025 — The Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) has launched another nationwide distribution of 9,500 Health Center Kits (HCKs) , advancing the Zambian government’s commitment to sustained equitable primary healthcare and reliable access to essential medicines and medical supplies.
The initiative follows rigorous quality assurance testing conducted by the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA), which granted a Certificate of Analysis confirming all medicines and supplies meet national safety and quality standards.
This distribution marks the second of its kind in 2025 from a total of 42,000 kits earmarked for distribution to more than 3,400 public health facilities.
This milestone underscores the Zambian Government’s commitment to building a resilient, inclusive health system that delivers to all Zambians regardless of location.
The kits will reach every province, district, and community bringing quality healthcare closer to the people and affirming the government’s commitment to leave no one behind.
